Jen and Brady being silly. They come for dinner every Friday (because it's pizza) and Sunday's because...well just because they love to be with us. :) PS...Dad found this shot as his new screen saver on his phone later that night after they had gone home! |
 |
We went to Pigeon Lake to see Kait and Ry and the boys to participate in the Village Christmas Party. This guy was there as well...everyone wanted to sit with him...except Dane! |

A bunch of us went to the gym and did a Zumba class...it was pretty intense and pretty funny. |

On my birthday this year, it happened to be the day that Jenna was finishing her class work and needed volunteers to come in to SAIT and have her 'poke' us. I'm not bothered with getting bloodwork... |
 |
...Brady gets a little nervous....lol |
 |
Kaitlin sent me these beautiful flowers on my bday and the little boys sent me a fruit bouquet! |
 |
This...is....priceless. Ryan is finishing their basement and Calvin took a break from going potty to tell his dad...and got distracted. |
 |
At Kaitlin's on the way to the village...Marla jumped into the van and decided she was going to drive. |

...and this gorgeous guy...Davey, whom I lovingly call 'Duckie'...because he kind of quacks and snorts when he's upset and it's super cute...except in the middle of the night, so says his momma. |

Dane was a cowboy toy at the concert this year... |
Dane had a little speaking part this year about how the toys come to life at 12:01 am and have to get back in their boxes before the kids wake up.
And then there's this!
Lewis leaves here on the 28th of December...therefore we had to change our plans for Christmas. We were going to go down to the cabin in Utah for a week during Christmas and then he got his call and there is too much to do and he leaves before we'd get back! So, sadly, some of the big kids also had adjusted their plans to accommodate being with us...and seeing their other families as well...and now they can't really change that. Kaitlin has all of Ryan's family going to their new place for Christmas so it means Den, myself and the 6 youngest will be here all by our lonesome! Well, maybe we'll just take advantage of it being a little quieter. No, that won't make me feel better. But this is the beginning of many Christmases that we'll have to juggle in order to see our people at this special time of year. We'll make the best of it.
