So in between Lake Manyara and Kitela Lodge, we had lunch at a place called Gibbs Farm.
They have a beautiful garden and the veggies and fruit they serve come from their very own garden. We had a tour, had some lunch and used the facilities...I couldn't resist taking pics...you'll see why.
Coffee plantations are a plenty--apparently African coffee is the best...wouldn't know of course as we're not coffee drinkers.

This is one of the many stages of a coffee bean--on the way to becoming the final product.
This is a sort of thistle that they grow to use the seeds (below) for red dye or colouring. It's really an interesting plant.
This was the first bathroom we used at the entrance of the farm.
Then there was this one, after we ate and yes, when you sit on the toilet, you're looking out the window. A loo with a view--we've had a few of those on this trip!
