The Simpson family moved back to the states about 5 months ago and we've missed them so much. I decided to just get down there before life gets away on me so I could spend some time with them. Michelle is a beautiful, kind, loving woman who is giving and cheery to all she comes in contact with. Sam and Joseph are awesome guys with big hearts as well. I'm thankful Joe agreed to let me have his room! What a gentleman. Sam put up with some girl talk and shopping and kept us company while we went here and there.
Michelle and I and another friend of hers went to Muir Beach one day and just sat and watched the water and people and it was hot! We then had a little bite to eat at a cafe on 4th Ave. We got our mani's and pedi's done and our hair done at the Paul Mitchell School of Hair for CHEAP...yet the results were pro!
Another fun activity was taking Michelle's daughter, Amy, and her husband Ethan's pictures. They are expecting their first babe in December and I was privileged to take the maternity pics for them.
Here's one that I just have to post...see if you notice the 3rd body in the picture. The little fur ball just had to get close...looking for something edible I presume...lol
We ate at a famous diner called Fenton's...a creamery actually with amazing fries and sundaes. Believe it or not, this was the junior sized and I could only eat the top part...my shaky iPhone pic leaves a lot to be desired in terms of focus etc...but that's all I had with me at the time and I couldn't let this go without documenting it!
Yum.
Those 4 days just weren't enough...before I knew it, it was time to go.
Joseph, Kelly and Sam
Me and Michelle
The best news is that we are planning another visit, this time with a few more ladies so we can have an official 'Girls Trip'. Taking time out to nurture and enjoy the friendships we have on our journey here is so important to me. Don't know what I'd do without these people I love and cherish.
See you soon Simpsons!
