Australia Zoo

Well, considering this is my 5th time to Australia, and the excuse that I had a small frog with me...I thought it would be worth a trip to the Australia Zoo.  Well, I don't think 'worth' is the right word, considering it cost $172.00 for myself, Reggie, Rachel and Savannah (who is 3)!!!!  It is a nicely laid-out zoo, but not very exciting.  I've been to several and I think the Berlin Zoo is my favourite...although Calgary Zoo is a very close runner up.  Australia Zoo...don't bother.  We should've just taken a drive up to Noosa and there you can see the koalas in the trees for free!  Go to the Uni to see the roos and turn on an episode of the Crocodile Hunter to get a dose of the late Steve Irwin in all his glory.  

But, since we did go...here are some of the highlights...and just to prove my point even more...Reggie's favourite part was the bouncy castle where he could do flips...and if you can believe it, they had a trampoline as well, but apparently he is too little to go on it...hahahaha, they don't know this kiddo and his tramp skills!

Back to the zoo...

And of course Buderim Falls...one of my favourite places on earth.
