Snow, snow, snow!

Well, we came home to THIS...and then we sprung some leaks in the kitchen ceiling because of all the snow on the roof leaking down through a 2nd floor crack in the stucco...and in our room a huge long crack because of the weight of the snow on the roof! Den got up there and started shovelling it off to ease it up a little and now it's been super warm...okay...not Australian super warm, but "armpit of Alberta super warm in March" kind of warm...ya know. So it's melting. Even in Superstore the other night, we were walking in puddles of water...literally down all the isles...oops...they totally srung a leak!

This weather is actually really nice as the air is crisp and fresh and the sun is shining, AND the days are longer...all make for fun outside. The kids totally crash at night because they've been playing outside more.

Dennis took the sleds out with the boys and then the rhino. While he and Austin were out, they got stuck coming up the big hill from the creek (the rhino was only in 2 wheel drive and before Den noticed, it was too late!) So they walked back to get a shovel and he left Austin with Mac and Taylor and took Lewy to where the rhino was and started shoveling. It was so hard...and they said a prayer. Next thing they knew, Mac and Austin pulled up on the bombie and winched them out! It was a cool experience for them all. Austin led Mac to the place they were stuck and voila!...the rest is history!
