Our day in London...

Again, I'm so thankful to Gabe, my parents, my kids etc. for this time away.  It's turned out to be so perfect.  The weather has been agreeable and Gabe and I have been doing a bunch of family history even.  We will be visiting Horsham, which is where most of my ancestors from one of my lines were born, raised and died...and happens to be only about 15 minutes from Dave and Gabe's home.  I have access to more information because I'm in the UK and that helps as well.

That will be happening next week.  As for yesterday...

This was actually the day before...just before we got caught in the rain...and a crow sat nearby waiting for crumbs from our snack.  This is a few blocks from Dave and Gabe's flat.  Right on the beach.  I caught Reggie a couple Pokèmon here.  ;)

Notting Hill, Portobello Rd. with Gabe

Lunch café  Meat, cheese and other things hanging from the rafters and sitting on the shelves.
My Cannelloni   Perfection.

An AMAZING little Italian café where we had lunch at the end of Portobello in Notting Hill
The owner is the guy at the counter...this is where he prepares our food.  Very cool.

The station we took after our Portobello Rd. adventure

Little bit of Portobello

Found another familiar place...but did NOT eat there.

So fun.  Great show.

I found these on the shelf above us as we were having a hot chocolate in the afternoon...start reading the stacked ones, and then I saw the other stack a little ways over on the shelf and started to 'decode' the puzzle.

Apple Market in Covent Gardens...which is my favourite place now in London!

This night was also a football (soccer) match between the Scots and England.   The pre-game rowdies were in the streets, inside and out of pubs waiting for the game to start.  They were in their kilts, singing and drinking and spilling beer.  It was crazy but kind of funny as well.

This was the result of a day in London.  Phew.  Slept really well.
