My girl, Jenna-Rae made a most exquisite bride.

They were married in the temple and the reception was at our home.

Her daddy had a moment...

before the ceremony

Latanya is a close family friend and she came from Red Deer to do Jen's hair and make-up for the day.  Look at her skills!

Jenna specifically waited until August 13th to be able to have Shannon here for this day.  She got home from France, her mission, on August 2nd.  BFFs

Walking the dogs one night, I couldn't believe the 'fire in the sky'

Summertime book reports thanks to Taylor and Lindsey
...and this happened...a foster from AARCS again.  She was a surrender with the Alberta Spay and Neuter Task Force.  Mom and babies...they were 5 days old.  Now they are a month old and one more month they will quickly be adopted because they are just so darned cute!

This is Lewis' view at work in the mountains.

I loved this cabin adornment at Baker Creek

Sir Odis Pico Chico Heinzlmeir

I found this gem in my dad's closet...Mom told me that Auntie Margot made for him years ago and he won't part with it!  I even hinted that because it fits ME so well, I could make good use of it...but didn't work.

On our way home from Quesnel, this happened.  We bought the van from G and G because of the deer totaling ours, and of course, it couldn't be too easy.

driving through the Jasper Parkway...glaciers!

Oliver and Nick slept over and this little cutie stole my heart!

Nick slept in a Spidey tent

Oliver was probably the best baby at church, ever!

Not the best pic...but it's my daily therapy...puppy time.

And then...last weekend while Lewis was driving out to work (Lake Louise), he got drowsy, grabbed the right shoulder with his tires, was startled and over-corrected and ended up on the other side of the road, facing the other way, upside down.  He had a co-worker with him, and the 2 of them were taken to the hospital in Banff where we met them.  She had a tiny little fracture on one of her vertibrae, and Lew was just sore and shocked.  Accidents happen...no matter how many times the Mom says "don't drive tired"...

Another write-off.  We're down on vehicles

Look who's growing up!  We have him this week (Quin) while his momma has surgery.
