Australia calls...

How fortunate am I to have some of my favourite people on earth living in one of my most favourite places on earth!

Since Kaitlin was going to Oz to reunite with her 2nd family, the Spicers, and her best mates, I decided that she needed company.  I also decided that I'd take Reggie, to make things a little easier back home.  It worked out perfectly because both Mac and Taylor are home from uni and don't start work until I get home.  So they are hanging out with Dane during the day and everyone else is at school.  Gotta take what I can, when I can.  Dennis is so awesome...he tells me his mission in life is to always make me happy.  It doesn't take another trip to Australia to make me happy, but it definitely 'brightens' my mood!  Sun, sand and surf...and Rach!


But first, we had to kill a lot of time waiting for connecting flights.  From Ft. Mac to Calgary, overnight with our buddies the Barbers...then a sinfully early flight to Vancouver...and thank goodness our hotel gave us the key to our room at 7 a.m.!  We hung out in Vancouver for a couple days, and it just so happened that Karli was there as well so we met up downtown Vancouver to go shopping and just hang out and catch up!

Waiting around...

More waiting around in the airport...for about 7 hours because our flight was delayed by 2.5 hours due to an electrical storm in Toronto where the plane came from.  While waiting in the airport, we came across a missionary from the Edmonton mission, who was heading home...to, guess where?  Australia!  So we were on the same flight.  We had a good chat to pass the time.
