Den and I on his 51st Birthday

I surprised him with a dessert night with our fab friends.

We had pizza and pressies at home and then I told him I was taking him out for dessert.

In the meantime, I had made this....below...a mile high black forest cake, which he loves...and a key lime pie...another favourite (might I add that I dislike both of these desserts, so it was truly ALL about Den for the day...just for the day that is...then...back to me...lol).

Kaitlin and I snuck out and took the cake and pie over to the Lokhorst's house and zipped back home without him noticing.  So when we arrived later for the party, he was surprised and pleased.

Thanks to Nancy and Brian for hosting the party and to all of our friends who made it over to share in the celebration.  It's always great to spend time with great people!

Due to yet another GOLF game...Rosemarie (who shares the same birthday as Den) and Eric came later...and I was glad they made it...even tho Rosie did NOT want her face in the pic because she was a little too 'rosie' due to the wind factor during the game, and the after affects of a fagulous facial by Michelle!  She looked just as beautiful with rosie cheeks.

Thanks to my buddy Karen for making a dessert that I could enjoy...Banana Cream Cheesecake...I know, right~

And, the best gift of the night award goes to Carolyn...a box of Viagra...filled with Certs!  Hahahaha.

When we returned home, the house was abandoned!  Yes!  Kaitlin took everyone over to her house for a sleepover.  They had movie night and treats over there, and then crashed for the night.  We had the whole house to ourselves and it was soooooo quiet!  We slept in and had a quiet breakfast...but then we both decided that one night of quiet is enough for us...it was way better when everyone came home around lunchtime!  I love my peeps.  Thanks to everyone who helped us have a great day and night!
