The hidden jewel...???

Well, many of you have the great privilege of knowing our sweet boy Jimmy.  For those who don't, here's a bit about him:

Sweet
SO Cute
Funny
Quiet
Charming
Intelligent
Loving
Kind

Now, he also has some limitations, as do the rest of us...but sometimes his are a tad more obvious.

So backing up the bus here...for the past 2 weeks, starting with Reggie, I have been helping out some major pukers.  After Reg it was Jim, then Brianna.  AND it was always at 2 or 3 in the a.m.!!!!  So I thought I was in the clear cuz they wake up raring to go in the morning and eating and playing and laughing and being themselves...but 2 days later, Reggie does it again...this time in MY bed.  So then Jim started all over...this time he made it to the toilet!  Yay Jim!  THEN, Dennis, Taylor and Lew go away (all this week) to a camp and I'm doing the puke shift yet again, all by my lonesome...same small frogs...and usually it's Den who handles the barf...

So last night, I hear Jim crying and run and sure enough he's over the toilet...but didn't quite make it all the way...so I'm doing laundry and he's sitting there all sad and uncomfortable, poor little dude...and so I get him cleaned up and back into bed...but then I hear him whining again so I run and get him to the toilet and he just let's it rip AGAIN!  Wow...water, water, water...so when he's done (or thinks he is) he asks for a kleenex...so Jim hasn't quite mastered blowing OUT of his nose...he always sucks IN...but I got him to do it this very night and we celebrated...it was a brand new box of anti-viral kleenex with the blue dots on the tissues...and when I was done with his nose, he turned to me and I saw something...so I looked closer and there in his nose is this.....!!!!!!!  Can you believe it?  I mean seriously?  I thought maybe it was a contest from Kleenex...if you find the hidden jewel you win a million bucks (I checked the box...there's no contest...lol).  So I have no idea how long he'd been carrying this around in his left nostril...but it could not have felt very good (Jim has a speech delay which is why I wouldn't have known thru him that there was a problem in the first place!).

Anyway, after my initial horror and concern for the poor guy, we all had a good laugh about it and I kept it just long enough to take some pics.  I put it beside a cinnamon heart for perspective.  Ya, I know, right?!  Gotta love him!
