Well, I'm not feeling very 'wordy' right now...and a picture does tell a thousand words...so let me just set it all up.
Cheap flights, plus a very special 16th birthday, plus my best mate, daughter and niece wanting to celebrate with us (in person, on a beach, in the sun, by the pool...) equals a trip for me and my Jenny to the Land of Oz.
Rach is the most giving person I know and am so grateful to be an important part of her life! We have always had good times, and this was no exception! She sent me and Kait and Jen (Karli had to work) out for the day (on the 1st - Jen's actual bday) and she made this fabulous Topsy Turvy cake which we all LOVED,,,inside AND out! Thanks to Mesa for the great surprise banner and balloons...Ricky for the music and Savvy for the sweet baby face and adorable dance moves! We had our own little pool/birthday party that evening. It will be remembered for SURE!
Other great events while we were down under...Jen got to learn to drive...a standard, on the wrong side (right side I should say) ON THE BEACH!!!! Rick and Rach took us to Double Island Point...aka paradise! It was amazing a Jen is a natural with a clutch! Didn't even stall once!
Here is a shot of just how beautiful and cool this is...miles and miles of beach to drive on, run on, play on...and even camp on if you like sand in your tent...

We had fun with hair...Kait got a clip-in extension and it looks perfectly natural and real! So beautiful. Excellent option when us girls just can't decide on long or short that day...

oh my GOSH! You are so sweet to say that about me! That cake definetly was a labour of love. I loved the colours but next time it will be better mate! You gave your time and money to be with me and I could never repay you for that except bake a cake every now and then. So who's giving now?! I loved all the piccies and every single moment of your time here. I wish all my family could come over as much as you and enjoy our special little world here. I'm so glad Jen got to drive on the beach...and you too! I love having a 4x4! I also LOVE that pic of the girls at Bud Falls where they are sitting one in front of the other on that rock! You NEED to get a photography career going girl! Next time you come I'm gonna pay you to do a photo session for me/my girls and/or whoever else wants their fam photographed too! You can help pay for your trip that way.
