Let's start with these fruits of my labour...LOLBack to school again...everyone was very excited and eager. Jen loves that she can just drive in with T, instead of the long bus ride...and Lewis and Brin are on the bus at 7:50 and they get home at 4:40! That is a LONG day! Lewis passed out on the porch swing last night after supper!
Taylor's last year of school! Wow! He's got all AP courses and I need to boast by announcing that he took his Math 30 AP in summer school so he had a spot available this year for Calculous (I know, who does that?!) and wrote the diploma exam in the beginning of August and his score on the exam (which is the provincial exam for those who aren't sure...and makes up half his mark)...96%! I know, seriously! He got 2 multiple choice wrong...that's it...100% on the written.

Okay, now onto my other fruits of labour...I haven't done any canning since we moved here and so I figured 5 years is enough of a break...I got right into it...(and I'm not done...Kate and Jared are taking a road trip to Southern Alberta to meet Jared's family and I'm hoping they can find me some rhubarb so I can continue making jams and pie filling when they return!)
Peaches, peach honey (yum!), peach/raspberry jam, crab apple jelly and apple pie filling so far.
Now, I think I'll take a bit of a breather...in the chill of the Alaskan sea/air...Den and I leave on Saturday for a week to refresh and meet up with some great friends! I'll be right ready to take on wedding plans and other great events this coming fall/winter.

omgosh I'm soooo jealous! I can't wait to start canning again...after i move back to the coolest country in the world! hehhe
