New specs...ice blocking!

Well, here's our Miss Brianna sporting her new glasses...I must say, she looks VERY smart!
She's getting used to them...and she's not biting the bridge pieces anymore (they are made from very tastey plastic I guess...)
...and Dane is almost sitting up by himself! I also gave him his first official haircut...a buzz cut rather...you know, that bald spot at the back of his head was standing out a little too much...so I just evened things out!
Reg is very good at finding things to do that don't usually involve toys...this time, he at least took a toy car with him into the basket...and he makes a darn good fish pucker!
Lewis is a very kind soul...I put my back out last week and couldn't walk for the day...he made sure I got set up where I was comfy and not in pain. He then made me lunch and served it on a tray. He made sure he was close by to answer every beck and call. What would I do without you Lew!

He loves to make things for us...he made this evening treat for Jen one night...his own creation of Pistachio ice cream, brownie, bananas and pineapple...and all the sprinkles he could fit...

Kaitlin has picked up a few new tunes for the guitar and here she is playing "Bubbly" and it sounds AWESOME...I'll have to video this one!
Now for the ice-blocking...for those of you who don't know what it is...in the summer, the kids take blocks of ice, put a towel on it and sit down. This begins at the top of a very steep, grassy hill...and like tobogganing, you just let 'er rip. The speed they pick up is amazing and dangerous might I add...as you can see...it's a tad crazy...unfortunately, I can't make my teenagers wear helmets so I just cross my fingers and turn my head. By the way...doubling is NOT recommended...
