We are proud parents of 10 very beautiful and handsome kiddlins! We have not 1 full house (2 queens and 3 kings), but 2 (another 2 queens and 3 kings)! What a hand (x 2!).
It has been a very up and down ride, not unlike a roller-coaster, but with the arrival of Dane, he has sealed the deal and welcome officially Brittany Lauren, Brianna Miley (after Elvis' girlfriend in Blue Hawaii, not Cyrus!), James Bryce Anthony and Reggie Connor Dean (twins), and last but not least, Dane Thomas.
Believe it or not, EVERYONE is completely happy to be a part of this great family. Taylor just figured out last night that all the care he offers his younger siblings will pay off in not too many years (according to him) when he is married and has babes of his own...he will have siblings that will do the 'pay back' by taking care of his kids when he and his wife take a getaway! Makes sense to me.
Seems overwhelming, I know, but really, we will be down 3 in the next year as the 'biggest kids' will be heading off to college and spreading their wings...and these little guys are pretty lucky to have such awesome brothers and sisters who love to spend time with them, teaching and being an example. Like I said, lucky guys...all around!
But, quite honestly, Dennis and I feel like we are the luckiest. I have decided that the world believes that you are fulfilled when you 'get', but I really believe that you are fulfilled by what you 'give'.
