I start with this picture because it is truly amazing. Jenna took it out on a sand bar and I really should enter it in some contest because it's so brilliant!Well, this entry, I'll let the pictures do the talking. We had so much fun. It was great to have everyone together...but we missed Mac. I guess we're heading into that time of life where we will be losing some members of the family to independence and therefore fewer of us together for family vacation...
but before we left...Reggie went missing...only to be found downstairs playing Rock Band...he's pretty good! lol
Quick overview of our trip:
Fort Mac to Calgary to spend some time with Char and John...and Peanut and Butter of course...then onto Merritt for a short but sweet visit with my Auntie Debbie, Uncle Murray, Auntie Kathy and Sherri and Lindsay and Dave's wife and kids...lots of fun and chit chat...and then off to Vancouver to see Kami and Brent and the boys and Jackson got baptized. We spent a couple weeks in Halfmoon Bay on the Sunshine Coast and did a bunch of fun sun/surf/sand/boat/waterslides/fish hatchery stuff. A really fun thing was when all the little frogs went to bed, us 'big kids' put in LOST (Char sent us with the first season to watch...and I thought I'd be bored by it) and HOLY COW! It's such a cool show. We would sit and watch several episodes each night and then before we knew it, we were done the 1st season, so she couriered the 2nd...but it didn't make it in time, so we rented the 2nd season and then as soon as we got home, we bought them and we're continuing our marathon when we can...Karlyn joined us part way thru and we convinced her to get in on it and so the kids watched the first season over with her on a couple rainy days so she'd be caught up to carry on with the 2nd season....isn't that pathetic! But we loved it! On the way home, we stopped off to visit with Auntie Margot and Mariette...which is always one of my favourite things to do...and of course see our cute little dudes Rhys and Everett!

The boys got used to taking a nap on the beach...which was great for mom!

Oh my gosh! You should seiously think of taking up photography as a profession cuz I think your photos are fantastic! Man, there are soooo many super cute pics! The kids all look super adorable and yummy. I agree with you about that starfish pic. Contest worthy for sure! That is really really neat! I miss miss miss you! I wish I could have enjoyed your vacation with you. Looks like it was real fun. We were both on the Sunshine Coast except on opposite sides of the world! hehehehe
Thank your for taking us on the trip with you. You look so relaxed andI focused on the family. I'm so glad you could catch your breath...though I bet you had some major laundry going on when you got back not to mention everything else! lov ya all
