Bright Sunday in Brighton

I got up this morning and got myself all ready for church!  Gabe walked me to the train station where I caught a cab.  About 10 minutes later, there I was!  I really enjoyed spending my Sunday morning in a familiar place!  It's so amazing that we can go anywhere in the world, and find a little heaven on earth that's familiar and peaceful.  I lucked out!  It was the Primary Presentation Sunday.  They had all of 7 boys in the Primary...and that's it!  Seriously!  That is their primary!  Needless to say, the leaders and teachers were participating, a lot!  Not a big ward, but people were so friendly and the Sr. Missionaries are from Okotoks!  We know the same people...they know Shannon's parents, and their Stake President before they were called on their mission, was Jenna's Mission President, President Craig!  The Elders were from Hong Kong and Northern England.  They were super helpful after church and got me on the bus to head back to meet up with Dave and Gabe. We walked and walked, had some fish and chips at 'Breakfast at Tiffany's'; walked to the pier, recorded the starling murmurations and then walked home.  Gorgeous day.

From the end of Brighton Pier you can see the i360 (the tall thing in the distance).

i360 - That round disc moves up to the very top and down again...apparently you can see London from the top!

Found some pretty awesome ice cream!  Yum!  Dinner/dessert all in one!
