Monday morning madness!

I think I've mentioned before and posted about our elusive porcupine that's been living under the deck for months now...well I had a sneaky suspicion that he was back and I was right!
This time Chevy got stuck under the deck between 'Fred' and the exit.  Thank goodness she just wanted to play with him and 'pawed' him a few times and ended up with some quills in her foot, but she was on her way to the vet to get spayed anyway, so they pulled out the quills while she was under!  How convenient...;)

So I called for Lewis and Fred took off across the road, so once I had Chevy out and put her int he house, I took off to help Lew.  He got a bin and I had a stick.  I know...really.

So it went a little like this:

Lewis finally got the bin over him...

...and then our neighbour came by and help us flip it and get a lid on.  Then Lew took him way out Lochend Road and released him!

Jack had a lazy, sad day with his sidekicks were under the knife!

Post-op pups...by the fire.

And it was the 100th day of school so Dane's class dressed like pioneers and went to the Historic Bearspaw School
