One of our foster dogs got 'stuck' a few weeks ago, and had to have surgery to remove quills. I thought it was an isolated incident. Nope, I was out this morning with our 2 pups and heard some rustling in the snow, then Jack started to bark and I spotted him...I quickly called the dogs into the house and grabbed my camera. It was still pretty dark so this is all I could get, but he was 6 feet from the deck and seemed to be trying to come my way. I ran inside to grab Dane and came out and couldn't see him...closer look...he was right behind the BBQ waiting to crawl under the deck. We stood still and that's when he hustled (well, they don't 'hustle') under the deck. Great. Now what?

We had a skunk under our front steps last year, our oldest daughter got sprayed. We called a company and they trapped him and moved it outside the city, but you are already outside the city so I don't know where they would take it.
