More vaca pics and the calf barn.

When I was younger...much younger, we lived on a farm across from Gort's Gouda and we've taken the kids before for a tour but the little guys weren't born yet...so we took them this time.  We got to see how they make their awesome cheese and then fed the chickens and toured the calf barn.  I used to have to feed the new calves on the farm as one of my chores.  I showed the kids how we would stick our 2 fingers in their mouths and lower their head into a pail of milk to help them learn to suck up the milk themselves.  Only a couple of them were brave enough and/or trusted me that they wouldn't get their fingers severed by the bottom teeth.

I actually  had a little time to myself on this particular day and loved every minute.

...and took a pic of this cool blue bug on my pants!

 The fly swatters.

On the way to the cottage after church on Sunday.
