My blog is about making history. It is a living journal of the Heinzlmeir family. Each day and each life event is worth documenting and even if some of those events are hard...and not always happy...being able to look back and see how those times made us stronger or taught us a lesson to remember forever...it's life, and we embrace it.

Lewis and the mountains equals AWESOME!
Lewis was able to participate in a scout trip on Friday. They skied into Kananaskis Country and camped over night then skied out yesterday. Here is a shot of Lewis. They were looking back at the beautiful scene of sun gleaming across the top of a snow-capped mountain. Living up north in the 'bush' for the past 9.5 years has definitely helped us appreciate the majesty and beauty of the rocky mountains in all their glory!
