My blog is about making history. It is a living journal of the Heinzlmeir family. Each day and each life event is worth documenting and even if some of those events are hard...and not always happy...being able to look back and see how those times made us stronger or taught us a lesson to remember forever...it's life, and we embrace it.

Oakland and Mt. Diablo with Michelle
I travel to the Bay Area a few times per year to spend some time with one of my best friends, Michelle Simpson. This last trip, in September of 2013, we decided to take some shots of some of Michelle's favourite things. This woman is a horticulturist, green thumb, knows all the names of all the plants and trees...so it's fun and educational to explore with her! These are some of the things seen through my lens that week.
