I had a photo shoot in August and thankfully, it was on the same day as the Fair here in town. So my people all had something fun to do while I worked! They took pics so I could see the fun they had.
Then of course we celebrated the finished kitchen floor, cabinets and some of the lighting...still in progress...but the blinds are up at least now as well...more photos to come.
We also started the school year...and all the kids are in dance lessons--here's Dane in his first Tiny Tot class. Ballet...and tap as well.
And of course BEFORE the first day of school, the boys were playing in the yard and Reg and Dane decided to play tug-of-war with a skipping rope and Reggie let go of his end...and this is where his handle made contact...
First day--Brit, grade 4, Brianna grade 3, Reg and Jim, grade 2 and Dane, all-day kindergarten...yes, that means I'm 'Home Alone' during the days now! It's payback time! lol
Oh, and our garden was beautiful this year and so I decided to add some colour to the kitchen walls by having my pro lab mount these shots I took of our home-grown produce...except the orange is from California--Michelle's friend's tree...and I took that picture when I was down there in April of this year. It's hard to see, but they are mounted on different mediums...float mount, plaque and flush mounts with a nice mat finish. Turned out beautiful.
On our cruise in July, we ate one of these (well, I usually just ate the centre bit) almost every night! So I tried my hand at them...not quite the same, but still very tasty. Molten Lava Cakes.
I found the shots of the produce...
Den and Lewis took Austin back to school and made it into a guys trip. They stopped in to see Andrew and made it to Niagara Falls as well!
