Some girl time.

Shannon and I have been friends for close to 30 years now.  We had some of our kiddos at the same time, and Jenna and Alexa were 2 of them--they were born about 6 weeks apart.  The girls are launching into adulthood and we thought it would be a great excuse for us to take a little trip--just the 4 of us.  With just a few glitches (like the lady at the United check-in booth in Ft. Mac deciding she wouldn't print boarding passes for the last 5 people--including Jen and I--even tho we had already checked in online, because she had a 'cut-off' time and we didn't make it--we were there an hour before the flight!  After ALL of us got on our phones to the 'powers that be', she came back and said, "okay, I can check you in now." She seriously said we wouldn't be getting on the flight and that we'd have to rebook for the next day or pay Air Canada for new tickets!) we made it to Texas City where we met up with Keith and Mary-Anne Miller and enjoyed some Texas hospitality (oh, and shopping ;o) for a day before we got on board 'Carnival Magic'.

Here's some shots of our first day.

The girls line dancing.

Our first towel animal...can you guess what it is?

Ready for dinner!
