I love to visit the Bay Area and the Simpsons. This time, I took Jenna and Shannon along as we needed to find a grad dress for Jenna and a bridesmaids dress as well for Kaitlin and Ryan's rapidly approaching wedding (May 4th). I also had to find a 'Mother of the Bride' dress, which is a new experience for me! We had a lot of fun getting mani's and pedi's and getting our hair done at The Paul Mitchell School of Hair...a regular stop when I visit. We also went up to the Oakland Temple to see the beautiful Temple and the grounds with all the beautiful flowers! I did a photo shoot with the Shrago family in Piedmont and had a wonderful time.
My main camera was in Toronto for regular servicing and wasn't going to be back in time for the trip, so I rented a camera and some lenses from a company in the States that shipped it right to Michelle's before I even arrived! I used it for the photo shoot and took it with us on our expeditions and then shipped it back before we left for home. It worked out beautifully and I loved 'playing' with some of the new lenses I rented as well. I took this orange picture in Michelle's kitchen. These oranges are from her friend's orange tree. Ahhhh, California.
