Though he's away from home for most of the year, Austin has the amazing opportunity to attend Robert Land Academy in Ontario. This school is military-based in terms of function and form...and the school has great values: Loyalty, Labour, Courage, Commitment and Honour.
We speak to him weekly and see him as often as he has a 'stand down' as it's called or vacation time. He will be doing a LOT of outdoor activities, even for Math and Science! They have a river and pond for canoeing and fishing. There's a climbing wall, boxing, paint ball, and all the regular sports...hockey, soccer, basketball -- which he is most excited about as he is truly gifted athletically.

It will be fun to watch him learn and grow this year!
