The gardens of Versailles
These gardens took 40 years to complete!
I took a quick snapshot of the room of mirrors with all the chandeliers and magnificent murals on the ceiling!
More garden...
By the front entrance to the palace...it was pouring rain, but we still had fun!
...and then it was off to Barcelona via the night train.

Our beds were pulled down for us by the conductor at curfew. Yes, a curfew.
They were pretty comfy compared to the ones on the train to Berlin.
