It was very 'sweet' to be in the kitchen making all kinds of goodies. I had some little hands helping, and some BIG cinnamon buns to enjoy...Lewis wanted to show the perspective so put his hand in there to demonstrate just how monsterous they turned out...little does he know I did it on purpose because all these big kids will eat 2 or 3 if they are smaller,,,so why not make them just the right size. Big.
Also, I had to post this great pic of my Grandma Newton's Brown Sugar Fudge as I haven't made it in forever, but Shannon's mom makes a similar recipe each year and I was the recipient of a batch that did NOT last long! So I decided to make some more and add this recipe to my cook book that I managed to finish in time for Christmas. They were delivered to the door on Christmas Eve! Perfect timing to wrap up and give to all my big kids. It was a great project that I've been working on for a while. It's so worth it as we all know that food brings us together...and I like 'togetherness'.
