Heinzlmeir Haven: Rachel's visit and random shots...

So much has been going on here...as you can tell...but one of the best was Rach and Savannah surprising me with a quick trip up. They came over from Australia for a few weeks and mainly needed to spend time with family in Southern Alberta...but she was able to sneak away to see us and participate in some birthdays and grad and awards etc. I just LOVED having them here. It was the first time we could meet Savannah since she was born and of course everyone fell in love with her and all her 'cuteness'! We did all the usual chatting up and laughing...and on Tuesday we drove to Edmonton with Dennis as he had some business to take care of. He dropped us off at West Ed and away we went. Pedi's and mani's and eyebrows and of course shopping. We then met up with Rach's sister Lydia and we all went for dinner. We continued shopping the next day and while Rach had her first session on acupuncture, I had a massage. She then went with Lydia to carry on her way down south (she goes back to Oz on Saturday) while Den and I made the journey north. Thanks for taking time out of your busy-enough-already trip to see me Rach! Only thing we didn't do...was take enough pics of her and I together on this trip...oh well...I'll see you in September and there will be plenty of photo-opps then! Cheers mate!
