Lewis had an amazing year in football (his 5th season) and in the last playoff game on Saturday, he scored the one and only touchdown of the game with only one minute left to play! It was epic!!!! The coach sent Lewis an email the next day...and yes, he won MVP...how awesome is that?!
Here is the email:
Morning Lewis
I just wanted to again congratulate you on your championship and Team MVP. Very deserved and I am very proud of you. You always played hard and were a pleasure to coach. Your quiet leadership was very important to our team success. You are the best RB I have ever coached and I hope you had fun this season.
Thank you again for all your hard work and dedication.

We were all there to support him and cheer him on. Grandma and Grandpa made it to almost every game as well. It was the perfect day for a great championship game!
Then Sunday came with Father's Day celebrations...we had food, fun and the kids got their dad a Kindle from Amazon...for all his reading desires...great little unit!
Next weekend is Grad and Kate and Mac's b-days...so we decided to give Taylor his grad gift today as well...
Hmmmm....what could it be...
He actually already knew because I split the beans...and not that I'm cheap or anything...but wow...we had enough Save-On More points to get this for FREE!!!! Yay! I love free! Don't tell Lewis, but his birthday gift (the PS3) was free as well...ya, we had like 600,000 points accumulated over the past 6 years...pays off to get groceries at Save-On!
