More Mac...

Well, this is funny...Mac was at a red light the other night...and beside him pulls up this car and starts revving up his engine. Mac ignores it and carries on thru the green to the next red. The guy pulls up again and revs some more, so Mac decides, being competitive by nature (not to mention the testosterone) to give it a shot...so he shoots out of the green, racing this guy until all of a sudden...lights and sirens...from the car he was racing!!!!!! Ya, it was a cop!!!! He pulls him over and ended up NOT giving him a ticket because he said he was egging him on, but gave him a warning. I THINK Mac has learned something from this...or so he says...a mother can only hope and pray...LOL

Also, Mac's teeth have always been an issue...he has 3 missing adult teeth and had his braces on for over 2 years...there is one baby tooth hanging on to act as a spacer for the implant he needs on the bottom front. So he gets a special scan and discovers that he has almost no bone in the front bottom jaw. This now requires bone grafts from his hip! We are off to Edmonton to get it going but he'll need the grafting and then that will have to 'take' before he can get his implant...and not just one now, they have to remove 3 others in the front because they aren't even in the bone...he can feel the roots with his tongue behind the bottom teeth! So he needs 4 implants after the bone is set. This is going to be a process for sure. They said if he was a hockey player and got smacked in the face, he'd would have required major reconstructive surgery so he's lucky he hasn't had any injuries there! We'll keep you posted on the jaw progress...this better be good after all this time and $$$...he'll have nearly a million dollar smile! LOL
