Cruising with friends is fun to do, fun to do, to do, to do...

Well, some of the places we visited...Sitka, Hubbard Glacier, Juneau, Ketchikan...

Hubbard glacier...chilly but VERY COOL!
Our waiters had some very cool tricks to show us...like this one...
the water looked inviting...but it was freezing of course...so we just enjoyed the view!

this was the best day...whale watching off of Juneau...
and more glaciers too...
so I got this picture...and then a HUGE wave came up and crashed into me...very funny actually...but very WET! The whales were breaching, which usually only happens when they migrate to Hawaii for the winter...but we caught them in a show for us...it was fantastic!

...this was a common occurence...
...they had an evening of ice sculpture displays and food art...

...and while in Ketchikan...our ship, the Statendam, from January's cruise, pulled up beside the Celebrity Mercury (the ship we were on for this trip)...it was a deja vu for sure!

Baked Alaska! With our waiter Nely
Sailing back to Vancouver was so pleasant and warm...we just hung out catching some rays and watching the Orca's play.
We mostly loved the company! It was so good of Leslie to plan this. We loved catching up with her and Jonathan, Cathy and Larry and Claus, Peggy, Cheryl, Phil, Louise and Greg! What a great bunch of people and what great memories...so where we off to next Les?
