How do you keep a monkey in his cage?

Our little monkey Reggie became very skilled at climbing out of his crib, and with the stealth of a jungle cat, would sneak downstairs and well, do almost anything he knew he shouldn't!  So we showed him!  He laughed when it was being put up, and then when he was put in it, oooo, his mood changed drastically!  But, he's caught on and it ain't so bad now!

Now for the 'mitts'.  Well, he got a scratch on his forehead back in January and it almost healed muultiple times, but he would NEVER leave a bandaid on and at night (he's a thumb sucker) he's bring his free hand up to his head and just rub his forehead, and of course pick at the little sore over, and over and over.  I FINALLY decided to cover those little mitts and tape them on so he couldn't do anymore damage!  I cut a little hole for his thumb and low and behold, his wound is healed!  He thought this was pretty funny too.  He actually never complained about it even.

...but I did have to do a lot of explaining to sell him on the idea!  LOL
