Family Day Fun

It was great to have some of our family come visit again! Rob, Krista, Karlyn and Megan flew up from Calgary on Thursday and the fun began. We enjoyed relaxing, watching movies, skating (Karlyn got a horrible blister/rub/burn on her leg!) hot tub, dinner out with mom and dad, good food...including a vanilla ice cream taste test. We tried 9 flavours (many of them Neslte who have bought out many other companies, and they all came in last). Hagen Dos won of course, with Safeway Premium and Ben and Jerry's running close second/third.

Of course there were lots of opportunities to take the sleds out and enjoy the trails and racing on the river! The weather was much, much better than it has been, so that made it even better.
